No 1 issue, agreed. Also, a tax regime that makes it worthwhile for those firms* not ballwashed by the IDA to make new hires.

*Waddaya know? Indigenous small and medium enterprises.

+1 i’d happily pay even more if i actually got my money’s worth and the govt weren’t so hideously self-serving

‘the govt weren’t so hideously self-serving’ can you expand on that? Give 2 examples of how the government is hideously self serving.

ugh this ‘human’ tool again. the newest turd to the bs party. heres two examples, (1) 5 grand pay hikes for themselves even though they’ve essentially failed at their jobs, because we have highest ever rents, highest ever homelessness, etc. etc. (2) the attempt to set up ‘irish water’ by order from the EU in exchange for jobs in europe. eg. phil hogan.

“people like you are like dogs, all u understand is boot and fist.”

This certainly says a lot about you.

I don’t know what hallucinogens you’ve been taking but being forced to give away half of what you earn in gross wages as taxes is high in any normal person’s books.

Yes. Sure they’re an invention of Eddie Hobbes and your one from Mayo that the Independent loves

I appreciate that you’re entering your crepuscular years, but this is still a wonderful place to live.

Housing & income taxes – both too expensive.

Anyone saying our tax rates are not high is most likely not earning a high salary. High taxes are fine if you get good services. You don’t and the unions want most of the increase in tax revenues to go into wages for existing staff – not new staff for more or expanded services.

If I were to move home it would probably be temporary unless the cost of housing & taxes/services weren’t addressed.

      Stay where you are Andy.
I’m pretty sure nobody misses you.

The English Language has a couple of issues regarding your last paragraph, but it’s nothing you might be concerned about.

Hey what ever happened the Colombia 3? I recall a “bring them home campaign” – then they just showed up. Then there was a send them back campaign. cant remember after that.

Oh wasn’t that when Gerry’s “good Republican” mates were caught training terrorists abroad?

      Good times.
