Meanwhile, At The High Court

at

Ian Bailey

This morning.

Ian Bailey arrives at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin.

The French authorities are attempting, for the second time, to have Mr Bailey extradited to France, to face trial over the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier west Cork, in 1996.

Mr Bailey has always denied any involvement in her death.

Yesterday, Mr Bailey’s lawyers told the High Court that the question of Mr Bailey’s extradition to France had already been decided by the Supreme Court in 2012 and that the second attempt was an abuse of process.

The case continues today.

He must have so many points on his Solicitor’s Co.’s. Loyalty card scheme.
At least enough for a trip to France.

How much longer can this be allowed to continue? If being obnoxious and not well liked is a crime, half the country should be in some sort of camp. This is beyond ridiculous.

Guards totally crooked, made a hames of the investigation as they wanted to tighten the case against him. He probably did it, however…

Not a clever thing to do at all.. nor is battering the wife really..

The guards fupped up royally here, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t do it. The French seem to think they have enough of a case anyway.

That’s how I’d see it too.

Not sure about the French angle though. Can’t see what they’d have or indeed what basis they’d have to seek extradition.

I guess what we see now with the Guards, we shouldn’t be at all surprised at shenanigans.
