I thought we were well beyond smashing bus shelters with rocks :( Bus stop at Clonskeagh, beside UCD. Students out on a Monday night or couple of Garda & a nurse coming home from Coppers @broadsheet_ie pic.twitter.com/cfagyc07Kj

This morning.
Meanwhile…
Last night.
Kiely’s, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.
The incident, following the Leinster Schools Senior Cup clash between Terenure College and St Michael’s College, occurred shortly after 5pm, with bar manager of Kiely’s, John O’Brien labelling the incident “a disgrace”.

Do you believe the rock in the video is the guilty party?
Rocks don’t kill people, people do.
I’ve met a few ropey rocks in my time
Lee Keegan probably saw a rock and threw his GPS at it
#oldjokeTuesday
Gardaí. A couple of gardaí.
the gords, a couple of gords..
Possibly related to the ruck outside Kielys yesterday.
couple of Garda & a nurse
lol
I think it was Cormac
I used to live near there and the bus stop across the road from me was done on a monthly basis.
Why can’t they use heavy clear PVC on these shelters?
What do you expect, it’s ‘The Gick’ after all?
South Dublin crime wave.
An old person (not me, I’m in the first bloom myself) writes: why were those children not at home doing their ekker on a Monday evening? In my day, etc…
ekker! Gift!
Exactly. Disgraceful behavior. Young people eh? You can bet it wasn’t like that in my day. There was no excessive drinking and thumping each other like baboons, oh no.
We took drugs and used flick knives or knuckle dusters.!.
A donnybrook in Donnybrook!
roysh
Did someone just score a Garry Owen goal?
+1
Superb
Unless it closed, is the garda station not 10ft across the road from Kielys? Yet according to reports, they took forever to arrive.
Have you not copped on how useless and corrupt the police force in this country is yet?
This is the most interesting part of the whole thing. How on earth could there be a slow response time to a mob brawl literally happening across the road from a major Garda station?
It was just high spirits! Posh boys don’t brawl. Silly man.
…but Rugby crowds behave, they’re not like that Football crowd riff raff. I’m totes in Shock!
the footage on the independent is blurred….wonder why that is… cant help musing that if it was two schools from Finglas or Ballyfermot that the video would be crystal clear.
and the last line would say Gardai are investigating and people are helping them with enquiries

I would imagine that it is because the video footage features many who might be children, but that might not tie into your outlook on the world, so…
If this was two schools from Finglas or Ballyfermot then Broadsheet wouldn’t be covering it. Middle class = bad, Working class = good.
Nothing to say about this? https://www.irishmirror.ie/news/irish-news/irish-women-fight-vicious-street-11935250
Amateur hour. Seen better handbags at the old Wes disco.
You’d miss Finglas Castle all the same.
Note the virtue signal from the Irish Times: “fee-paying”. Like the Irish Times is free.
Rugby chaps, in their canturbry tops, strutting around, consuming excessive amounts of protein supplements, popped collars (to amplify rugby expertise, apparently), you’d never get this type of behaviour with the lacrosse crowd, oh no..
A wise person said of the overly aspirant class –
“You can’t polish a turd – but you can roll it in glitter”
