Haha..that would involve Irish people standing ‘shoulder to shoulder’? You must be joking if you think that’ll happen. Too many ‘classes’ who hate each other. Too many drones who have never ever experienced any hardship. Too much apathy. Thats my impression of this country recently anyway. Ideally that should have been done years ago when private debt made national. Not a peep out of us then…sad greedy selfish times ahead. Have a great weekend!

Why would the people who own this bank (taxpayers), who have been losing out as a result of those delinquent borrowers not paying their mortgages for an average of 3.5 years, stop paying their own mortgages and end up in the same trouble?

Don’t kid yourself, that’s how Ireland has always been.

If these guys declared bankrupt years ago they would be out the other side of the process by now, but they still have to realise that pain.

Maybe if customers move their accounts from PTSB over the proposed sale of the mortgagees to vultures might send a message for the other banks which will follow suit
We now have Ulster bank going to do exactly the same
Make no mistake if and when people are evicted it will be the taxpayer who picks up the tab
On average per homeless person it costs the state 30 grand s year
That money could be spent on all if we had no homeless
Maybe also the term bank holiday needs to be replaced by just citizens holiday
Why celebrate and give credence to true scum which is the banks
    Question
What is the difference between a banker and a monkfish?
    Answer
One is a bottom dwelling scum sucking organism
    The other is a fish
