Since the opening of Krispy Kreme, residents of the Grove Court Apartments can not sleep peacefully, every night there is team trumpeting for donuts … even at 2.30 am. Children can not sleep, baby cries awakened repeatedly. People who live here, for nearly a week are going through a nightmare.

    The video looks like absolute hell. Can’t imagine how bad it would be while failing to keep kids asleep. I say failing, because it would be impossible to sleep through that racket.

          The shop closes at 11, the drive thru is 24 hours. Krispy Kreme has to figure this out or the Council should just close them down after 11pm. Intolerable.

    I haven’t bought a doughnut in a long time.
    Has doughnut deliciousness improved dramatically, or just the madness of people?
    What a nightmare for Kasia and her neighbours. Hope the gaurds can sort this out (if they’re not in the queue)

    I’m sort of genuinely outraged at this.

    Like, be a complete bellend and queue at 2.30 in the morning for confectionary by all means, but the beeping thing is so carelessly antisocial that I can’t believe the cops aren’t involved.

      Isn’t the use of the car horn restricted to certain hours under the rules of the road? On the spot fines there would heat the Blanch Barracks for the Winter.

    Following from the well-received opening of our new store in Blanchardstown Centre, we are aware that a small number of customers using the drive thru service have been beeping their car horns late at night. We are naturally asking them to stop and we do apologise to local residents who are affected by this. To help encourage drivers to be respectful of residents we are getting signage made asking them to be quiet in the area and looking into other options to improve the situation. We are also engaging with the centre management team to control traffic congestion in the store vicinity. We are working to prevent this and we ask all customers coming to the drive thru to respect the area and the residents who live nearby.

      What’s really sickening is that they would just let this happen without complaints being made so public.

      They care about one thing and one thing only – profits from their high sugar, high carb, low nutrient crap.

      No intention of ever eating a donut again, let alone a crispy cream (I am not spelling it with a f*cking K thank you.)

      As to the scum beeping their horns, what sort of brain damaged idiot queues for a donut? Seriously?

      I’d imagine they would have some haul of muffin (tops) already.

    Blanch is a joke since Krispy Kremes opened, Traffic worse than xmas, cant understand why Blanchardstown managers are even letting it go on.
    Ill be boycotting the place till its sorted.
