Aaron Rogan banner headline in the Times the Irish version of British, sounding alarm about
opinion poll results…..like it not Mr Casey will do a lot better than expected and his participation
in the Election has lifted the lid on a lot of issues that the Dublin Elite have avoided for years
and the day of reckoning has come:

Three posts on this Friday morning and already the American alt-right clichés are being trotted out.

The ‘establishment’ in this country are not a liberal elite, they are dyed in the wool conservatives. They would be very happy to see the likes of Casey spouting his bullpoo. Look how long it has taken for abuse victims to get recognised let alone justice. How long it is taking for sick people to get cannabis based medicines. They dragged their heels on equal marriage and abortion for as long as they could.

If that is liberal then I wouldn’t like to see the opposite.

Casey picked on the travellers to grab attention and then moved onto welfare claimants. Who’s next for the scapegoating? The immigrants? The gays maybe? A man who loves his country so much he couldn’t even be bothered pay tax here.

      Says it all really.

        bang on @SOQ +1

you have as much to offer than any of the candidates, a pity you yourself couldn’t have interviewed for what is undoubtably the phattest party gig in town!

(staring at my voting card now & feeling bad about abstaining….anyone got a suggestion for me?)

The headline could have read ‘MSM ACCUSED OF SKEWING OPINION POLLS IN FAVOUR OF HIGGINS’ and never a truer word would have been written.

Funny, I was travelling along the road the other day as well and saw two well attired ladies on horseback. You know, riding boots, jodhpurs, the hat and all the gear. One of the ladies was on her mobile.

Casey hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell of getting elected but he will do a lot better than the official “polls” suggest. I expect Michael D will win with about 40% of the vote, Ni Riada will get about 30 and Casey will be either 3rd or 4th.
Still it will enough to encourage let this honestly people to consider the proposition that the establishment media backs up the status quo dishonestly more seriously. For better or worse this has always been that way. However now the difference between public opinion on issues and the narrative being fed them by establishment figures and media outlets supporting them has never been greater.

Unless an extremely low turnout, Ni Riadha will hit the SF ceiling of about 20%

A lot of people will never vote SF/IRA

I really don’t see what’s so special about a bunch of reactionaries getting their backs up at the slightest excuse.

A friend of mine in the UK had a years assignment in china
The job paid for his accommodation but the deal was they took the rent from his house
This was great until the mortgagee company called in the mortgagee because the property was now regarded as commercial by them and not a residential mortgage
Apparently that’s in the small print
So a giant hornets web is about to be opened up
Also if you rent your home out you must have landlords insurance
If not imagine if home burnt down and the insurance assessor finding that little clause to refuse to pay out
