blushirts must defend the rights of the poor tax dodging corporates and their vulture fund mates..
There’s no level playing field when it comes to geography, we are entitled to attract industry with tax offerings.
There’s also not a level playing field with employments costs – we’ve lost manys the back office to Poland, perhaps they could raise their cost of employment, i.e. wages, to that of the rest of Europe to ensure a level playing field?
Our lack of high taxes for super wealthy have contributed to our housing crisis, our Health crisis, our water crisis. We have lacked proper investment and planning for our population boom. 40 to 60 years ago, even in America the marginal tax rate on their super wealthy was as high as 90%, but mostly 70%. This is why the middle class was much healthier in the recent past. Wealth gaps were much smaller. Now the world is getting more and more overcrowded, jobs are being taken by automation, continuing with these low taxes for the wealthy is a fools errand. Its destroying the middle class, and therefore our societies. Infrastructures are crumbling and out of date and rural life is also disappearing all over the world. Its all tied in.
