It’s all so very pathetic. I really hope, but am not confident, that our electorate will see through the blatant FFGmedia assault on us. If anything, this carry on gives us even less choice.

What does it tell you that people are still willing to give their vote to SF despite their history?
Precisely, but does it cause FFG to take a look at themselves to work out what is causing the disillusionment of the electorate? No, not when it’s easier to get their and the media’s attack machine out for quick hit jobs.
Ff and FG have a history of running this country down the toilet and letting normal people down for over 93 years in government one time or another. .. id rather take my chance with sf. If it job interview ff and FG cv would look terrible.

It’s quite funny you say this because I got a flyer from my local Sinn Fein candidate and this is exactly what it said (obviously with the names reversed). No policies, No list of what they plan to do, just knocking the opposition.
Sounds like FFG have done all of the hard work already for SF, they almost don’t need to try.

RTE main news at 1. Top story. PSNI investigating reports of a bomb on a truck. Now, the start of this report sets the scene. A truck in Belfast Harbour, planning to board a ferry on 31st January (Brexit Day) to Scotland with a bomb on board. And the story? PSNI Investigated. No such truck, no such bomb. But the tag line is that the PSNI suspect dissident republicans of planting the non-existent bomb which could have caused massive damage on board a ferry.
A shorter report then of the PSNI searching 400 vehicles in Lurgan, and supposedly ofinding a bomb. A ‘named haulier’ that hasn’t been named.
We know the run of it now lads.
Last week before the election is the non-stop Independent ‘sources say’ reports.
Then the non-stop RTE anti SF biased interviews.
And then the PSNI uncover something
And then….nothing.
The game is up.
Still waiting on the Moriarty report that’s lying in Varadkars office since Kenny’s time. Hugh Coveney’s interview would be interesting to read no doubt.
Looks like all of the UK media are carrying the story too.
What concerns me is that it took them so long to find the bomb. Looks like the haulage company gave them the coordinates of all 400 of their trucks and they had to search them all.
I pity the poor driver who might not have realised there was a bomb in his truck.
Well, with the tip off being so exact as regards the haulier, wouldn’t you think they would have supplied the truck/trailer number too?
And no more will be heard of this after Saturday night.

They didn’t work with FG in 2011 either. Remember when we were being told how they had no experience and would ruin everything and Ray D’Arcy promised to emigrate if Enda became Taoiseach? The arguments back then were that FF had screwed up so royally that, no matter how bad FG were threatened to be, they couldn’t be worse. Now SF have them both running scared so the knives are out.

I thought he was deceased, but when all you do is get wheeled out for a day at every pre-election final media hour to stick the knife in then I suppose you can conserve the minimal amount of brain power and energy available and last a long time. I’d never vote for F-f/g and apart from once being loyal to labour when they cared about workers rights I’ve never voted for any party and never SF any higher than 4th or 5th below local hard working honest decent independants and smaller moderate organisations of candidates.
I’m putting SF 1st this time with, independents, greens, soc dem etc. and the same no transfer policy to the F-f/g duopoly.
