Think you forgot the 4th photo Bodger, ’cause that’s not Lisa Chambers.
Kate O’Connell hasn’t lost her seat yet lads. At least wait for them to eliminate her after count 8.
assume the idea is to break it softly to dr fart
Sorry, Reprobertie, fixed now. Late night.
No worries Bodger. It looks like it’s only a matter of time anyway.
And she’s gone.
She’s eliminated now.
Stick her picture back up on the Wall of Shame there Bodger ;)
Any excuse for a picture, eh Hoop?
Jan O’Sullivan gone too.
And so is her sister Mary, in Tipp
And I suppose the one causing all the trouble on the twitter will be looking for another job as well now
Two candidates in Tipp was never going to work for FG.
Especially wimim ones
…interesting tweet from Glena Lynch this morning explaining that Stephen Donnelly was forced out of the Soc Dems…any comment Broadsheet?
I thought he walked.
Time to break out the old Vincent Browne footage and see?
How did Paul Murphy jump in there?
I thought he was on track to keep his seat.
I think you are correct, he looks set to be returned
Good grief, sorry. That’s down.
Jumping the gun on a couple of those, perhaps?
Sorry, prematurely posted.
Thought Paul Murphy was looking safe?
Sorry all, fixed now.
Catherine Zappone looking like Gunter Von Hagens ( German doctor who preserves dead bodies using plastic resin)
paul murphy? he gained almost 3500 of sean crowe’s surplus and looks good now imo
Sorry, Brother, human error.
no bother, bodger
you frightened me a mite, that’s all… I like paul murphy
The cut of Noel Rock. Was he out on the razzo?
I thought it was funny when he was on the panel for the election coverage and the counts had barely begun “You’ve lost the seat Noel?” “I have yeah! Ah the constituency has changed” – It’s not me it’s them!
Good riddance to Shane Ross, a cautionary tale to the armchair politician.
Katie Taylor will be devastated. Her no 1 fan and mentor no longer available to follow her around for every possible photo opp.
That was the cringiest thing I ever saw an Irish politician do. The photos were even worse, with his head floating over her shoulder in every press photo in the papers.
It really was. All very Alan Partridge….. aha!
Great meme though.
Shane Ross smiled himself into political oblivion at the Arrivals in Dublin Airport.
Thought he would make it, having stood up to the fossils in the FAI
Donnelly might still get in too.
Jaysus, him too. Sorry all again.
and catherine noone was neither a TD or Minister before
Argh. Thank you.
But apart from that you’re playing a blinder ;)
Hehehehe
I would like to second that. And with the joys and intricacies of our wonderful voting system, staying on top of everything is no easy task.
I visited a count centre once, but it was too much like an uncontrolled bloodsport that I had to leave. Now I watch from the safety of my computer screen, and thank the electoral gods for people like you at the ‘Sheet!
but her political career is over
is lord conehead gone???
What will happen now with the attempt by Regina Doherty to appeal the Data
Commissioners decision on the Public Services Card and like wise with Judicial
Appointments and Tuam Forensic Investigation with Ross and Zappone gone
well now that Doherty one is a subject very close to my own heart, delighted to see her unemployed but also I’m cautiously awaiting the next moves there. I’m telling ye all now, that business with the PSC vehicle is an attempt to hijack your data and not for good purpose
AFAIK it was “the Department” that appealed – not the actual minister.
A new Minister can re-assess it and either leave the appeal as-is; or comply with the order (whatever it ended up being) and drop the appeal.
I think you should have said ” she’s a lovely looking lady I’d love the opportunity to charm” rather than WOOD, sorry would ;)
@classwario
I mean obviously that’s what I meant and it went without saying…..
FG candidate Vicki Casserly trying to make her elimination a gender issue by the looks of things.
“a worrying trend” that so many women are being eliminated.
Sorry, but I don’t buy that for a second. Most people have more important considerations in mind when placing a vote than whether or not the candidate has a uterus.
Yes, and more will be said on this for sure.
No Conspiracy, Mary Lou ate the competition…
Kildare North results came in, and of 4 seats, 2 are women. Kildare South, of the 4 seats being contested, it looks again like 2 will also go to women.
I think across the country it is clear that is is more on party lines that people are getting excluded
Ok, Fiona O’Loughlin just conceded, before the official announcement, with Cathal Berry just pipping her on transfers
Those first and last pictures have brought me great joy, a right pair of lady parts
Noone can’t have been a surprise to anyone, even herself, but what was, well to me anyway, was just how transfer toxic she was there in DBN
Just a gist – between counts 2 to 7 she gathered 110
whereas Ben Gilroy got nearly a thousand out of the same distributions
I don’t think we’ve seen a transfer balance like that in the General yet
I know tis early days – we’ll no better when everything it dotted and teed by the weekend
And most of us are pretty wrecked to be doing any forensic analysis atm
