Maybe Thomas Pringle should take a look at himself in the mirror after using misogynistic slurs directed at women.
in his now apparently deleted tweets he called women TERFS and pronounced that he would make a “toxic environment”
he also seems to have recently been told what a meme is
BS
Update. They’re not deleted. Horrible little man that Pringle
Oro
Do you mean that Simpsons meme on his page? It gave me a real giggle.
Bitnboxy
Hmm, I’d say this is nothing to do with Pringle. Eoin O’Brion who is obviously top brass in Sinn Fein at this stage (at least on the political side) was on the Week in Politics admitting that those keyboard warriors on the Shinner side are going too far. Same goes for Fine Gael’s as alluded to by Simon Harris. I think both sides are realising their “rally the base” twitch hunts are counterproductive and turning undecideds off. As I often say, a plague on both their houses. Opposite sides of the same old coin.
You haven’t provided any evidence to prove that the claims are false.
Either way it doesn’t make much difference – Ireland is defenceless in the air and relies totally on the goodwill of those brave boys and girls in Her Majesty’s Royal Air Force.
The Air Corps crop-sprayers can barely break cloud cover.

Much like the Brits relying on Uncle Sam every time they get into a pickle. As Sam says “If it wasn’t fir us y’all be speaking’ German”.

It’s part of the Irish Times – expect as much.

Michéal Martins take (on everything as it happens) “My gut feeling is that it’s 50/50”
That’s a “That would be an ecumenical matter” type phrase.

Ah go on. What do you want MM to say?! These talks are finished? Truth is nobody knows. Grow up.
GiggidyGoo
He could as easily have said ‘I don’t know’ which would have been the truth.
50/50 whether you prefer Cara or High Life mind you. Depends on username I suppose.

Mary Lou said “the diall can swing either way”. All just filling empty space until we actually know. The tragedy though for the UK (and probably the rest of us) is that Brexit will never really stop – deal or no deal. The UK will likely become more obsessed with the EU, far far more than they ever were as members.

There’s no point arguing with Giggidy; he will continue to be disgusted by the fact that the government is not composed of actual clairvoyants…
GiggidyGoo
And Rob G enters the conversation, with nothing intelligent to say. (as usual). Robbie boy, if you want me to follow you around and comment on your capabilities ad nauseam, I can do it. Your choice.

Great article in the Independent by Ciara Kelly.
Level 5 came at a huge cost, and made no real difference.
High case numbers did not result in a major spike in hospitals.
but you could tell me today was Monday
and I’d still take it with a good dose of salt

Mass vaccinations begin in Blighty today as the first NHS Hospital trusts take delivery of the Pfizer Covid-19 jab.
A memorable moment in what has been a year to forget.
And the weekend saw massive footfall in retail areas that were allowed to re-open last week with huge pent-up demand released.
Much work still to do and a great deal of patience needed over the next few weeks but a corner has definitely been turned.
Marvellous.
Here’s hoping it can stem the 200+ deaths per day.

It’s a little easier to tackle Covid when you’re not much bigger than the Isle of Man.

Well. One thing for certain Is the world is watching… hopefully all will be well 28 Days Later…. ;)

I hope this will be included in the next Trump Tries To Overthrow Democracy post here on the broad sheet:
‘The federal court order in MI ending Sidney Powell & Co.’s request to overturn the election results there methodically shreds all of their claims. They lose on every single issue – the case is moot, was filed too late, they have no standing, etc.’
Sure you know that’ll never happen. The cheezy Messiah has spoken. He won and nothing will change their minds. God herself could spilt the skies and exclaim Trump is a liar and a fraud and they’d yell back ‘FAKE NEWS, God ain’t no chick’….
I know I shouldn’t have but I did
but I had a mask on at the time so droplets trapped goodo
btw, not that it matters
ain’t no dude either

Damn straight. God can be anything God wants to be and to my mind a Flying Spaghetti Monster is as good a manifestation as any. That or Alanis Morrissette from Dogma. I’d believe in that.
He’s not someone that’d make me fall to my knees on front of, but who am I to judge?!

It is only a matter of time before an employer’s liability insurance is forced to pay out if they have not medically screened in advance where the operation of machinery is involved.
Oxygen levels mean frig all.

A little unfair to blame the mask SOQ ;)
Also word to the wise, your oxygen levels will increase if you breathe through your nose.

Not a bad World Cup qualifying draw for Ireland – could easily finish runners-up.

The new normal
Until a senior member of the party turns up at your door and tells you to stop criticising Sinn Fein.
The new normal indeed.
Yikes.
There’ll be nonna that at my front door
So, Rudy’s got the Rona… Wonder if he’ll ask his care team in hospital if they’re comfortable taking their masks off….
Shur tis just a flu
Exactly. And all the actual science backs that up.
false news on the front of Irish Examiner, falsely claiming there have been Russian incursions into Irish airspace. There hasn’t. Is the Irish media finally going to concede that there are other opinions on this lockdown madness?
“Great article in the Independent”
“Is the Irish media finally going to concede that there are other opinions on this lockdown madness?”
Isn’t the Independent part of the Irish media?
Nitpicking again so.
But you make it so easy.
Well prepare yourself Same’oh bhoy
Third Surge in January, and an other full 5 lockdown
is already in the pipeline
Maybe get a NY flight to Sweden while you still can
Oh have no doubt level 5 is already planned but such cannot be data driven- that people are already expecting it speaks volumes.
PCR tests ≠ ‘cases’ no matter what they say and that is the fundamental flaw in all of this.

Proud of ye putting yerselves into the front line like that for us
Ireland does tend to follow the UK’s lead in most things so Covid-19 vaccinations won’t be any different.
You’ll get yours when you’re told.
