Behold: the Totem GT Electric – a tribute to the 1960s Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA by Italian automotive startup Totem Automobili, which describes it as ‘the most advanced restomod in the world’.

Fair enough. This all-electric handmade prototype (from which 20 production models will follow) generates 518bhp and will do 245km/h with a100km/h time of 3.4 seconds and 360km of range from full charge.

    I’m conflicted

    its a fine looking car

but if it’s true that they are sacrificing original Giulia chassis to make it happen that’s basically sacrilege

    so no

yes Janet you get it, exactly

Tony, those words of yours could only come from someone who truly dislikes cars, sees them merely as some sort of utility as opposed to a potential family member, to be loved cared for and cherished, begone!

Lovely motor but I’d have the electric rust-free version any day
