The Late Late Show is looking forward to welcoming our studio audience back when it is safe to do so. We are hoping that will happen during our upcoming season, which begins in September.
At present for the Health and Safety of RTÉ staff and crew working on our live programmes, we are only accepting applications from people who will be fully vaccinated at the time of broadcast.
Proof of vaccination will be required for admission to TV Studios.
Stay home or is the little prick worth it?

As people can still be infectious, it completely defies logic of course – but sure its The Late Late so whatever.
Given its decline in popularity, its a strategy which could easily backfire- are they insisting on the same for the guests? I’m sure Eric Clapton would oblige. And what about those who can prove antibodies or is it just a full on pharma shill fest?

If they are requiring proof of vaccination then would that not imply that RTE are also requesting their employees to be vaccinated?
Oooh and they wouldn’t gotten away with it if it wasn’t for that pesky GDPR, and pesky Irish Constitution and a persons right to bodily integrity.

Thirty years ago The Dave Fanning Show invited us to Studio 8 to record what we had no idea what we were doing- because they had journalistic tentacles across the island.
We had an absolute buzz- t shirts owned more than any drug- to hear our efforts being broadcasted across the national airwaves.
