Majestic seagull.
Portmarnock today absolute bedlam, however a free bottle of wine as a thank you from the couple we allowed to park in the drive…karma innit
Portmarnock’s a place I regard
as a village where every square yard,
Is car-ridden and yet
those fortunate met
with Broadsheets resident Lock-hard.
:)
Of course, Brittas as you know, means friendship.
Of course Brittas comes from the Irish Briotáis = [a] wooden parapet, which in term comes, via the Normans no doubt, from the Old French ‘bretesche’, boarding or planking.
Is that the city manager cycling past in volleyball pic 5??
I’m not sure, but whoever he is…

We had a picnic on the beach and even got a swim with little miss.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend ;)
Woohoo!
