Blame It All On Their Roots

at

Ah here.

This morning.

Croke Park, Jones Road, Dublin.

Karen Morgan writes:

For both Garth Brooks and Mayo, the dream of five headline performances at GAA HQ lives on, but it could remain an Unanswered Prayer.

With residents primed to protest (again) Paddy Power released odds of 6/4 that all five gigs DON’T go ahead.

And in tandem with their billboard, Paddy Power announced they are also taking bets on the seemingly cursed Mayo footballers to dump Dublin out of the 2022 Senior Football Championship…again.

Hon Mayo.

Should you really be promoting this gambling outfit Bodger – with the headline, pictures, branding, PR puff and all?

Can’t imagine this lot are friends of the site getting free promotion?

No idea who Karen Morgan is, but in the interests of good sportsmanship and fair play, the term used on the billboard was ‘knock Dublin out’, not ‘dump’. Pedantic yes, but language is important.
