            I’ve explained my logical and rational reasons multiple times before Nigel. I don’t need to explain again but because you’re not the sharpest I’ll go again:

            1. My risk from hospitalisation from covid is only 0.023%
            2. My risk of death from covid is only 0.00014% – https://qcovid.org/
            3. I’m happy to take this risk
            4. The vaccines available are still on trial until 2023 and we don’t know the full risks yet, especially long term risks. Time will tell.
            5. They do not stop transmission.
            6. I know many with nasty side effects from them, 2 hospitalised.

    I seem to remember a figure of 22m injections being a target for Ireland. Quick media search only gets me a 14m figure but I do remember being shocked reading it. So I think its fair 5 injections is the aspiration. I suspect this is economic in that as the anglo sphere is bust & those printing money need to have clients to take it as debt. Injection costs 25 Dr gets another 30. Lets say 50 yoyos x 22m = 1.1bn. Nice for a place the size of Manchester doing our bit to save the empire. Cant wait to read the screeching on this point. Do try and consider it in a calm way.

      Back in 2020, before any vaccines were approved, Ireland (like most western countries) put in full orders across multiple vendors to get enough vaccines for the whole population. At the time they ordered enough from each manufacturer to cover the whole population (in case only one vaccine got approval) – resulting in us being oversupplied if all vaccines made it to market.

    Imagine if we were paying directly for these vaccines as a consumer. Say 100 euro a pop.What we were promised in sales pitches for each one versus what we got so far. We’d all be up in arms asking for your money back and looking for solutions elsewhere.

    Ah come on, 5 shots and repeat every 3- 6 months, never in the history of vaccines has this been required. For something which kills in the main 60+ with underlying conditions, it’s insanity. Sure get it if you are in that group, but expecting healthy people to submit this is crazy.

    I think people are deliberately mis-reading the info – it’s 2 doses of the CURRENT vaccine + 1 dose of CURRENT booster to protect against omicron:

      You have to admit it was confusing the way the rep from Pfizer phrased it. Sounded like he was talking about a vaccine for omicron alone. So 2 core jabs, then a booster, and then booster shots every year or 6 months?

        Agree it was confusing, but it comes down to where you source your ‘news’ – I knew this BS post was wrong because I saw one headline earlier today that made it crystal clear. I also think it’s super ‘convenient’ for Pfizer to find another reason why people should take their booster, but put that aside for now, this entire post from BS should be retracted as it’s an honest mistake at best, deliberately misleading fake news at worst.

    Has anyone on here ever had the Hepatitis vaccine? It’s either 2 or 3 doses, at which point you’re tested to see if you’ve developed a reaction to it and to see if your body has developed protection. If not, you repeat the 3 dose treatment (if you choose). The whole process can take over a year.

    I can only imagine the heads spinning around here with the outsider syndrome tall stories about what is ‘really going on’ if they had go through that lolol.

        My point was about the non prescribed method of attaining protection using a vaccine, and how it varies from person to person. It isn’t looked at in a way that people think is conspiratorial, yet the same rules don’t seem to apply to the covid vaccine.

        People (on here) are so inflexible on all of the medical factors regarding this covid vaccine and I don’t understand why. Especially when there is precedence for that exact situation with other pre-existing vaccines. I suppose now you’ll do a “experimental tech / isn’t a vaccine” quotes haha.
