No fluffy, the responsible thing to do is start drinking at noon. We’re all in this together remember, so shots by 4 at the latest.

Just need a short “Circuit breaker” to “flatten the curve”. The next two weeks are crucial but we’re all in this together. Stick together. Stay apart. Looking forward to clapping from my balcony again but only for the vaccinated frontline workers. Listen to the experts. Question nothing. Trust authority absolutely. Merry Christmas.

It’s become apparent through the past couple of years that it takes a very slight scratch on the rotting surface of humankind to unleash its authoritarian nature – which in itself is oxymoronic.

This country will eat itself and it’s being facilitated by humankind lemmings.

Such mindlessness has always been easy for those in power ro induce. Just a little dose of fear and the herd fall in line. Works almost every time.

Oh lest we forget, ten thousand thank yous to you Steph, E’Maty, Flawless etc for being our knights in shining armour, wielding your swords of light, illuminating us in these darkest, darkest of times.

The Irish were the greatest enforcers of British rule throughout the empire
The Irish were the greatest enforcers of Catholic rule throughout the “empire”
The Irish long to be the greatest enforcers of Covid-orthodoxy throughout the world

They havent gone away you know

      1. E'Matty

Exactly. Daisy, Sarah and Co are like rabid Catholics attacking anyone who dares question the Bishop or his latest sermon. Gospel truth and infallible all the way, they say. Daisy even believes she is a fighter against that kind, failing to realise it’s a mindset and when it repeats in history it isn’t exactly the same ideology but it is the same mindset.

Pubs will be buzzing this weekend so. The government and NPHET keep their demoralisation campaign ticking along nicely….

So Corona is coming out earlier each week..
This isa level of ridiculous unheard of . How on earth do you come to a 5pm conclusion.

…that jailed granny was obviously not a Broadsheet reader…hadn’t completed any of the courses on the University of Facebook…hadn’t taken the hypocritic oath…didn’t know about all those wheezes such as a winning smile or scanning a Tesco QR code…tut tut…

St John of God’s is a far better place for that poor woman than a prison. I note that her family once again requested appropriate pscychiatric care for her in custody. Hopefully they will be listened to this time.

      1. Chris

She doesn’t need psychiatric care. What a world, when someone stands up against tyranny, cowards think them mad.

        1. Bitnboxy

Erm, no. Her family know her better than you ever will. They are the ones who should be listened to – not you. Twit.

        2. Tom J

You must be a coward so, I don’t see you going into a shop refusing to wear a mask and refusing to leave when asked. Good man Chris.

          1. Chris

I do go unmasked Tom. I wouldn’t refuse to leave if asked, I try being polite – I don’t want nor need unnecessary hassle. I understand people have bought the con, there’s no point confronting them over the fact.

          2. Chris

I’m cogent & aware – all my faculties are intact. The only voice I hear is my conscience, and I abide by it.

          3. Bitnboxy

Could there be anything more nauseating and beta than Chris and E’Matty thinking they are hard men for not wearing a mask?! I wear my mask because it appears to make particularly older people a little more comfortable in stores and out of respect to servers who know a lot more about hard work than bone-idle low born indolents like the two luminaries already mentioned.

By the way, I don’t for one minute believe E’Matty or Chris.

          4. GiggidyGoo

Ah Boxy. Do you wear it when mumsie and pops come over to drop off your allowance then? There there there.

      1. E'Matty

You should do a show about “criminal” grannies. This week, we have the shocking case of a pensioner politely refusing to wear an utterly useless face garment”

Are they just kite flying the 5pm thing because they’re going to go with 9pm or something like that – yet another media briefing/leak from yesterday’s meeting, but by whom? Either way it’s beyond stupid and makes an even bigger mockery of the vaccine pass.

    1. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

making a mockery of the Irish people is why these people get out of bed

      1. Hughie Luas

Policy setting by Twitter. Make leak late at night to lazy crony journos. Use words like “consider”, “discuss”, and “explore”. Scan hashtag reaction that’s trending the next morning. Listen to whingeing on RTE Radio 1 up to lunchtime. Then, make a slightly different decision. Phew, made it to another weekend!

    2. Mr.T

NPHET say 5pm, Govt say 10, NPHET say 6, Govt 9, then they settle for 8pm curfew.
Standard negotiating tactic – the thing is though, the government should not be negotiating! The government holds all the power, they do not have to placate, negotiate, or remonstrate with NPHET – they have the power and can ignore their recommendations.

Michael Martin doesnt seem to realise that NPHET are not a coalition partner, or any kind of “partner”. They are nothing more than advisory. They do not make decisions, and should not dictate policy.

      1. bisted

…NPHET do not make decisions and they do not set policy…they have been ignored by those who make decisions at every turn…they have been heeded by the vast majority of people who saw from the outset that the biggest lawbreakers were the lawmakers…

        1. SOQ

So why have they consistently attempted to undermine the authority of the democratically elected government by leaking their opinions?

They should be disbanded and preferably, sacked.

this worst irish state deal ever, not just financially.

‘In 2002, Dr Woods signed off on a highly controversial indemnity agreement under which 18 religious orders were due to pay hundreds of millions towards a State redress scheme for clerical abuse survivors. The deal limited religious orders’ compensation liability to €128m, despite the eventual cost to the State exceeding €1.35bn.

The agreement was signed weeks before the 2002 general election and was not put before cabinet, before staying unpublished for several months after the new government had been formed.

In 2003 Dr Woods said his Catholic faith meant he was the most suitable person to negotiate. Despite saying at the time it was “the best deal that could have been done”, he has since been criticised over the fact the terms were not passed by cabinet first.’

    never challenged,never.

..this was, spoiler alert for fans of Dopesick.

…A federal judge has upended the bankruptcy plan of OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma, saying the members of the Sackler family who own the company could not be released from legal claims over the opioid epidemic….

    1. goldenbrown

      thanks johnny

Woods is a duck and it quacks – anyone who believes he wasn’t a Dei soldier or some other exotic breed of agent of god is a idiot

I doubt a penny of that notional miserly number ever left a vatican bank account into the palms of those who deserved it either

  7. johnny

Martin was minister for children,in Purdue they made it a condition precedent, immunity, but the process was fatally flawed,in that the judge exceed their authority…

They can trace 10 Billion distributions, the ‘offer’ was only for 4 with immunity.

-crack epidemic which was mainly urban was a crime problem, opioids (oxy) is a health issue….hm.

The BK court did not have the authority to grant this immunity, did Father Woods ?

Yes and as the comments on Broadsheet and across the internets have shown us this year, it is going to be another circus of NWO shapers vs the sheeple. Insert sides as appropriate.
Cant wait for the pandemic/scamdemic to ‘end’ or fade to the middle pages’ so we can really properly get into that.
      Truly depressing.
      Merry xmas.

          1. Tom J

Skip the heroin, you’ll only have a life of misery. If you think the pandemic is bad, heroin is worse, and there’s no vaccine for it.

          2. Joan B Goan

Ah yes, perhaps I shouldn’t make light of the brown sugar but with ample supplies, atop a hill, watching the sea levels rise, a tsunami on the horizon and civilization collapsing, I can think of worse locations and activities to be engaged in.
But for now lets go with peace on earth.
            Best wishes.

        1. Tom J

I’m always in good form, unlike you even when you are showing evidence deny the fact that RFK Jr is a hypocrite. No he is not an honourable man.

          1. Chris

Why do you think he’s a hypocrite? The book he wrote is extensively sourced & referenced. I sought proof for his claims before in interview, and found him to be beyond reproach with his evidence. He’s a good man, much like his father.
