‘I’m guilty so you can’t sue me’, can’t see a judge agreeing with that. It’s way too broad. I just don’t understand why he didn’t settle privately when he had the chance. I find it hard to believe that the teaching unions are making it as difficult as possible for schools to return to normal in the new year.
These are the people who go above and beyond the call of duty in the six months of the year in which they actually do any work.
Teachers who always call staff training meetings on the Friday afternoon before a long weekend and who clear the car park like the Le Mans start the moment the last parent has picked up their kid.
As an under-pressure health service struggles to cope you can always rely on teachers to step up to the plate in educating the children of nurses and doctors.
Or after spending large parts of the pandemic sat at home on full pay doing sweet FA they’d be keen for their pupils’ education not to suffer any more.
Yes,sirree – teachers are the bloated public sector’s finest servants and must be protected at all costs.
