I think these images from @paulmurphy_TD have been really interesting today. It demonstrates the reality of trying to control our indoor environment. And the reality of day to day co2 monitors. Some tips. 🧵 https://t.co/KTv3WhIjDO

Nippy, in fairness.
Meanwhile…
Via Kerry Louise Bray on Telegram:
I was in town [Dublin] yesterday, met someone I know who is a Special needs Assitant and he told me the kids are all sitting in their jackets during class because they have to keep windows open to stop the transmission of the virus.
Our government cares so much about our youth it didn’t even think of investing in ventilation…
So they are sat in classrooms freezing their butts off with windows open and having to wear masks 7- 8 hrs a day…
We can still go to the bar though and not have to wear a mask.
Maybe we should move the kids into bars…. and let them do classes from there. Would make about as much sense as this governments regulations
Anyone?

kids need to be moving around every 20-30 mins if the air temperature is that low. hunched up freezing all day long is asking for neck and back trouble, stress, interrupted sleep.
Too true. The teachers sleep is interrupted having to get up for work
Sure when did politicians of any hue give a damn about the young citizens of this country. Could this be an exercise in lowering expectations and standards for the future voters? Possible but long term planning has never been something our bitters, I mean betters have cared to cultivate. Up the revolution and down with pints.
Cruel and Unusual Punishment.
The State hates your children.
Why else would it tell lies in order to inject your children with an unapproved, untested gene therapy?
If you tolerate this you children will be…
[…too late]
Great song!
You are dead right but are also dead wrong, it is never too late! Keep your spirits up, they cant stop us all, we can easily walk in there and turn the thermostats up one by one, once there is enough of us that is…
Pff . what are they afraid of, catching a cold?
Don’t they know there are sacrifices to be made for our public health!

Tell the kids to bring in a lump of turf each with them, like in the good old days.
Is the advice to keep all the windows open fully?
My kid’s classroom has a whole wall that’s just windows/glass and they are only slightly open to ensure fresh air is coming in. No-one is freezing in the room.
