I left a long time ago so can’t really comment. But it’s a thriving town, on the doorstep of West Cork, Kinsale and Cork city.
Good schools, thriving artisan scene, 20 mins from the sea.

It’ll be ‘Minimum Wholesale Pricing’ soon.
Reasonable Commenter
It’s completely illegal, Hopefully the competent authority will bust the place up good.
It’s rather sad to see some of you on here glorifying excessive consumption of cheap alcohol given it’s a national characteristic of which any reasonable person would be rightly ashamed. I don’t agree with the minimum pricing measures mind you, but still, it’s nothing to laugh about.
Simon Sayz

It is not a credit note because it is worth than what they’ve given him and they keep the cups. It is a voucher at best and vouchers can’t be used for alcohol. This won’t last long.
