This afternoon.
The lights are going out all over Europe.
Any excuse.

Blackouts and fuel poverty, the values we cherish alright
He’s a gobsh*te but on this he’s right – at some point Europe will have to ween itself off Russia’s energy supply and that will be a painful process.
The longer we leave it, the worse the consequences for not doing so may prove to be.
There literally is no official narrative you won’t slavishly parrot..
Where is this gas you speak of to come from?
Shall we send “the allies” in to invade Syria again and funnel it up from Qatar?
Or do we rip up the UK’s contract with the Norwegians and leave them to freeze?
Where’s this magical gas coming from ANO?
Yep perks of membership of the EU frankly we would e better off out , another crash on the way
I suppose our gas supplies agreement with the UK will be diverted to the EU as we are all in the same boat in the EU
The UK have enough gas and oil fr the North Sea even if increased usage of 2.5 times what it uses to last 3 years
It’s shipped via pipelines from Scotland
So technically unlike Europe we have enough to avoid outages but Micky mehole and Varadkar and Simon will keep it quiet
it does also get him off the hook for the dreadful cost of living in Ireland. Two birds, one stone.
Hopefully the electorate’s memory isn’t that short, Paul – I know mine won’t be come the next general election here.
We can now get all these easy Eir pen workers we need now to get the country back to work
Whoops we have no accommodation
Forgot about that
The EU has no gas supplies..
Pleb central
If this gimp honestly cared, he’d lobby for the certification of the NS2 to be fast tracked..
…so all that shell to sea effort was doubly for nothing?
Go look into it buddy, it’s not going to Ireland..
…there was me thinking that some of it was going into the Bord Gais grid…wrong again…but I am sure about one thing…you are not my ‘buddy’…
Don’t worry folks, it will be fine. Mickey and Leo have a plan to nationalise the gas. We’ll read it in tomorrow’s Irish Independent.
We get our gas from the uk and power also from Northern Ireland
So why the power cuts?
Mainland Europe has this problem
The Norwegians have upped the price due to the shortages in Europe. Should the supplies run dry in Europe, that North Sea field will be routed to the EU.
Britain will have to renegotiate with Norway, or bully Scotland.
The uk has oil and gas on the North Sea
The EU will find they will not get any of it as the UK are not in EU as the same for Scotland
I doubt Norway will be bullied by the EU as to who buys their gas
That oil field belongs to Scotland and Norway. The EU can rip up the UK agreement should supplies run dry.
UK has most to lose.
UK was the main aggressor against Syria, trying to funnel the gas up from Qatar. They failed, thanks to Russia.
blah blah blah
if you want to show leadership you windbag
shut down all Russian money flows thru the IFSC and do it today
The EU is going to do that for Us
Climate Austerity coupled with market shortages. They’re going to bleed us dry.
Anyone that believes this “war” is happening is a clown.
Likewise, anyone that believes Sinn Fein will change anything is also a clown ;-D
I think we need to continue gas exploration whilst massively investing in renewables
Multiple incompetent governments, all in the WEF pocket have brought us to this juncture.
The Taoiseach is a clown of a man, not fit to run a chipper van. He would lose money at Slane Castle, even on the best pitch, and this is our fearless leader?
Incompetence and grift seem to be rewarded and I am tired of the proclamations of “we need to do what ever the #uck to save the world”
Increasing our heating and electricity costs by 30% in a year, for a global warming scam, with his nose in the trough?
Man has no credibility and is incapable of telling the truth.
The debt is odious, and does not need to be legally repaid.
