It’s an important story and shows the old boys club in operation, controversy generated by Holohan’s potential TCD appointment or secondment (or whatever BS the spin doctors make up) is a distraction away from an even bigger story.     I had a lovely weekend, away from the murky pages here. Not that anyone is especially interested or anything but I thought it would be a novel change to report on something nice.

    Friday evening, I went to a cooking class and learned how to make homemade pasta properly and ricotta gnocchi too. It was very enjoyable, as was the wine sampling at the end.

    Yesterday, we went planted trees for a local orchard as part of a sustainability scheme. There’s talk of a community garden too, which is lovely. After that we had a little picnic lunch.

    Today, I took the kiddos for a longish walk. We stopped at a playground on the way back and played in the rain and then had tea to warm up. We’ve just had dinner of lamb shanks and roasties, and it was delicious.

    Hope everyone else had a pleasant weekend. Anyone else do anything of note? Or not of note? Just something nice?

      Sounds lovely. Good for you. Went to local park with wife and sister in law with the kids myself. Minding my Brother’s dog this weekend. Cooked up a nice Spag Boll earlier and now about to watch some StarTrek with Mrs Clax and have a crisp German Pilsner. Or two.
