Ying Hua – the Val Doonican of bears, outright winner of all the internets.
The Comfy Cargo Chair by Stephan Schulz: a 3D grid of rounded steel that you can fill with whatever you like – cushions, books, goats’ cheese. Whatever.
The Cut Chair: a concept by designer Peter Bristol.
Triplette Chair by Paul Menand.
And, unlike the admittedly more stylish Inception Chair, you can sit down without falling to the floor.
The Spinning Chair designed by Jaanus Osugaar and supposedly inspired by the Cern Accelerator, is a spinning-top shaped wooden cone with leather hand straps and a metal ball in its base. Yes it is. The blurb sez:
The spinning chair is the opposite to the rocking chair. When the rocking chair calms and puts you at ease, the spinning-chair energises and stimulates. The vibration from the spinning of the metal ball inside awakens your spirit and renews your cells. After 6 spins you end up where you started. It is an hilarious, irrational and playful ride for both kids and grown-ups.
You’ll need a lot of space and a conveniently-placed bucket.
The Bulldozer Chair: an aluminium concept by designers, Mark Goetz and Efe Buluc.
Apparently, despite the look of the thing, it’s very comfy.
And anyone who says otherwise is a big jessie.
Inception Chair by Vivian Chiu.
The dream is real.
UPDATE: The dream, sadly, is still only a concept.
