A truck has lost some of its load in the centre of town in A couple of bales have come loose and fallen off. There is now a standoff between the local barber and the farmer.
The farmer is waiting for someone to come down and help him reload, the barber is livid because the hay is effecting “footfall” and “crippling my business day”.They’re arguing, the barber says he’s calling the Garda because this is “obstructing pedestrian traffic and is now a matter for the law. More as I get it (unless my bus to Dublin comes first).
UPDATE
Tension mounts between local farmer and barber, media are arriving on scene. Man to the right of picture is a photographer/journalist (I think). He’s trying to piece together the story. Taking pictures and gathering eye witness accounts.
