Behold: the 1975 Porsche 911 Coupe, but not just any old 1975 Porsche 911 Coupe.

This ‘tribute’ vehicle, which started life as a 911S has been extensively modified by Patrick Motorsports, fitted with RSR-style steel fenders and older “long hood”, along with 934/935-style mirrors, round taillights and a one-off custom paintjob. A 964-era 3.6-litre flat-six has been bored out  to 3.8 litres and fitted with twin turbochargers, delivering over 550bhp.

Behold: the 2020 Porsche 911 Coupe – the eighth generation of the model first introduced in 1963.

Wider and the front, slimmer in the midsection and with the iconic beak of its earliest ancestor, the upcoming iteration has a 450bhp, turbocharged flat-six powerplant with a host of technological gizmology including road moisture sensors, thermal imaging cameras and ‘swarm intelligence’ navigation.

Yours for about €170,000.
