Below is the almost completed Irish Quasi Autonomous NGO [Quango] list. It has taken me ages. Please help me finish it. I would like to hand it to the Government as they don’t have a list.
There are 732 Quangos as is and some of them are confusing.

Each Quango is staffed by a professional staff and led by a Board of Public Representatives. The average staff employed is circa 15, the average board size is circa 12. Some Boards have a turnover of less than an average Spar shop (Galway Habour Commisson for instance) making a cost-benefit analysis impossible. There are multi-memberships of boards, fees of circa 40,000 Euros may be drawn down for each membership plus mileage and expenditure. I have not included the Committees of Dail Eireann or sitting steering committees of the Civil service, the number of which would stand conservatively at 650 for which expenses and additional payments may be made.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks to contributors to at Politicalworld.org for helping compile the list and raising this spectacle of waste.
