Kate Dolan writes:

I just won Reach Out Ireland’s Inspire A Generation competition with this video. The message is quite poignant at the moment with the recent teenage suicides in this country. I know a lot of young people visit your site

Reach Out Ireland

Ronan Costello of the Union of Students in Ireland writes:

Here’s a county-by-county directory of mental health services in Ireland. USI compiled this in 2011, but it’s particularly relevant to young people now as cyber bullying, depression and suicide are being discussed as issues of serious concern for our society.

And last year’s Fine Gael election manifesto promise:

Before committing suicide last night, Terry Thompson, the owner of a controversial exotic animal farm in Ohio, opened the cage doors and released 56 wild animals onto his 72 acre property.

When initial attempts to sedate them were deemed too risky, 48 were shot and buried by police including 18 Bengal tigers (fewer than 2500 remain in the wild), nine lions, eight lionesses, three mountain lions, six black bears, two grizzly bears and a baboon.

This morning, a grey wolf and a monkey (possibly carrying a virus) were still loose. The remaining six animals were transferred to Columbus Zoo.
