Last week  RTÉ’s Investigation Unit, published a comprehensive database online, outlining TDs and Senators’ pay, allowances and expenses between March 2011, just after the general election, until the end of July 2014.

The interactive table above has been created using data to allow readers see the sum total of pay, taxable allowances and expenses paid to each TD for each year in that timeframe.

Just click on the year.

Figures do not include the extra salaries paid to the Taoiseach, Tánaiste, Ministers or Junior Ministers as that money is paid out by their individual departments. Those extra salaries can range from €34,381 to €98,092 per year. The figures also don’t include some additional expenses paid to some TDs, such as constituency office grants, etc.
