Ged Nash, Labour’s Minister of State with responsibility for Small Business and Collective Bargaining
Minister Ged Nash is calling on companies to attend the conference to discuss how a campaign for a living wage for employees in Ireland might be introduced.
Employers, trade unions, workers and other groups are being invited to register their interest in attending the forum, which takes place on 30 September.
Minister Nash said today’s announcement was about recognising that people who work for a living should be paid a decent wage.
