      Looks like it!

Of *course* it was sensible for Irish MEPs to stay quiet – their party leaders will be hammering out policy ahead of hugely complex negotiations over the next two years.

But then again none of the imported English rags do subtlety.

Actually, they weren’t making the point that they ‘kept quiet’ , but that they were not allowed to speak.

Whilst the home grown Irish rags are dead subtle and a brilliant blend of wisdom, good taste and the height of cool.

      Fupp right off, Daily Mail.

Your paper has helped encourage an almighty cock-up which will hurt the UK, Ireland & the EU.

It has also helped to stoke nasty English nationalism & xenophobia.

(At the same time, did Irish MEPs try to speak? Were they prevented?)

Cameron concentrating on the immigration issue.

Conveniently ignoring the effect of austerity, the concentration of state investment on London & the p!ss-poor campaign he ran

    Istanbul :(
Third busiest airport in Europe. Must have been horrific for travellers.

The first thing I did last night was check our flight list at work as we route a lot of our employees through there, luckily none of ours were there, we’ve now put a ban on travel through Turkey.

Ditto. Turkish Airlines chosen providers. Lots of my colleagues on business and holidays go through Istanbul – sometimes it’s all about timing.

Oh my God, they’ve reached the ‘Now look what you made me do’ stage. It’s like watching scenes from an abusive relationship.

Daily Mail and the Irish Independent will push for Ireland to join the the UK through pernicious articles by Fine Gael loving hacks like Ruth Dudley Edwards.
