Last night, the Dail’s internal disciplinary watchdog approved the clampdown on scruffy members with new set of fashion rules for TDs in the chamber.

Good morning, I see you have a new route from Ballinteer and I believe that you are charging OAPs for this route? Is this the case and if so please explain why?

Thank you for your recent email enquiry. The Social Welfare pass is accepted still on all the other Aircoach Routes. The only route that it is not accepted on is the Ballinteer route, which is beyond Aircoach’s control as we have been advised by the Department of Social Protection that we are unable to accept the Free Travel Passes on our Ballinteer service as the department has no further funding that it can supply for new services and as a result our new service has been affected by this decision. I realise that you are a private company and as such have no obligation to provide free travel but I would like to know how much you charge social welfare for the trip. A few questions: How much money do you think you would lose? Would you consider a half price service for OAPS?
