It’s European Year of The Come Hither Look Volunteer.

Taken literally an hour and half ago at the EC House in Dawson Street, Dublin. Claire Byrne, Harry McLaughlin (age 8) and therapy dog ‘Willow’.

Visitors to EC House can find out about more than 70 Irish voluntary and charity organisations who are actively recruiting volunteers. Harry was made a EYV2011 Ambassador for raising €5,000 for Haiti.

Broadscaster TV3 has confirmed a guest on a TV show was not a former MEP for Nicholas Sarkozy’s UMP party but had in fact been elected to the European Parliament for the far-right National Front.
