Opera in the Open’s season at the amphitheatre among the civic offices in Wood Quay, Dublin city centre, began yesterday with Bizet’s Carmen (Liz Ryan in the title role above). ‘An initiative of Dublin City Council Arts Office, Opera in the Open is on each Thursday at 1pm (until August 25).
