Somewhat in the style of Nick Park’s Creature Comforts (only without the brilliant claymation) Marcel the Shell With Shoes On is still awfully cute.
Directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp and voiced by Saturday Night Live’s Jenny Slate, it first appeared last year and, due to public demand, will soon have its own TV show and book.
