Dame Street Eviction Latest

at

Everybody. Chill.

Miriam Cotton writes:

“I’m in court nine at Four Courts. So far the eviction is rumour contrary to some reports. Dublin City Council are not on the list about this. ODS camp advising us all to calm down”

UPDATE

There’s confusion over which court the case will be heard in. So far we’ve been told it could be any of courts three four six and nine. If indeed any application is being made. ODS position is nothing is happening til it happens. Central Bank have told several journalists they know nothing about it. It seems most likely it would be an ex parte application by Dublin City Council.

2pm Update:

Just back from the Four Courts.  The general consensus is now that the eviction threat to the Occupy Dame Street camp was a false alarm.  Journalists and others have checked with the Central Bank and Dublin City Council legal department – both organisations say they know nothing about any application for an injunction.
