I would appreciate you sharing this. The authorities are attempting to remove the last green space in the centre of Istanbul and the response to the thousands of demonstrators has been tear gas, dawn raids and burning their tents.

People are protesting not only to save the park but also as a show of resistance to the government and the questionable decisions it has been known to make. It would be nice to show some support.
