Future Matters are hosting an info session and Q&A on the upcoming Seanad abolition referendum at seven tonight in the Teachers Club [36 Parnell Square, Dublin].

The theme is “Open it, don’t close it: Why the Seanad should be reformed.” Speakers are Gary Murphy, Senior lecturer on Government in DCU, Suzanne Egan: Law lecturer in UCD and widely published author on human rights and Barrister and reform campaigner Ronan Lupton Following the Q&A session the campaign will launch the Petition for Reform which calls on Enda Kenny to respect a No vote and implement reform if the referendum is defeated. Free food and refreshments will be provided. although there may be Nay.
