Podcast apps are the new Twitter clients of the iOS world – they’re where all the interesting design and user interfaces are happening right NOW..
Network, built by Dublin based engineer/designer Andrew Conlan is a great example of the new crop of apps that take full advantage of everything iOS 7 has to offer.
Network has a slick, minimalistic interface that fits in beautifully with iOS7. The app really gets to the core of what you want from a podcasting app – listening to the content as quickly as possible with minimal interference and setup. Everything in the app can be accessed with a few quick, intuitive gestures.
The app is also very conscientious when it comes to downloading new episodes – it’ll wait until there is wi-fi instead of gorging on your 3G data.
