“Angry FG [Fine Gael] staffer removing posters [anti FG/ Simon Coveney] along Nassau Street [lunchtime]. this was the eight or ninth poster he removed and was on his way to get the rest….”
“defending a position by citing free speech is sort of the ultimate concession; you’re saying that the most compelling thing you can say for your position is that it’s not literally illegal to express”
Coveney’s been allegedly involved in illegal weasel fights. He takes on a dozen or so at a time. His entire lower body is scarred from little bites. He never takes his gansey off at the beach.

Farmers have no time for him. And now that he is Minister for Defense and Agriculture, plenty of people want answers as to why a government would merge those two departments under the one minister.
Makes no sense in a normal society. Something’s up. He’s been given a task which involves needing control of Agri and Defense and I doubt it has anything to do with normal operations.

it took them long enough – I walked down Nassau St on Saturday afternoon and those posters were there then. The FG machine isn’t that impressive really, is it?!
Free country to put them up…………and take them down
Technically he’s just picking up litter, unless they had permission from DCC to put up posters on public property.
George is actually reliving a incident with some Garda and his pants. He’ll snap out of it when he gets hungry.
Is that Pat Spillane standing behind him in the green t-shirt having a good gawk?

Himself and Brolly differ in opinion re: the posters..
Ah free speech, free up until the point you say something somebody doesn’t like!
