         Not just wikipedia. He was convicted of felony assault and spent 6 months in prision for it. He always maintained that he didn’t participate in the actual assault but admitted his part in the taunting that provoked the fight. Witnesses said otherwise, hence his conviction.

            Actually if you look it up Jay was assaulted by Bradbury after calling him names. Jay kicked his boyfriend twice and got his assault charge for that.

   My cousin emigrated to California in the mid-70s and saw him skate in some competition in LA around that time. Was totally blown away by the skill. RIP.
