Ford Focus – Classic American automobile?? Sure, the parent company is American and it was built there but the Focus Mk1 from 1999 was 100% European upon launch. Ford USA used updated versions of the design right up to 2007, when they launched a US-only Focus that was a warmed-up version of the 1999 one. That was American – and awful.
