Marriage equality for everyone is an oxymoron. You can’t have equality without giving it to everyone. I agree with the sentiment though!

Well actually ‘Marriage Equality for Some People’ would be an oxymoron. This is just repetitive but repetition is necessary sometimes.
I’m confused to why there was a march, is’nt there a referendum next year? Not that I have a problem with it, just wondering why they have signs like “down with this sort of thing” and “equality” if there is a vote coming up that will decide (hopefully a Yes vote)

Galvanises the community I guess. Yeah we’ve won a shot with a referendum,but we haven’t won the referendum yet – definitely not the time to rest on our laurels.
Keep the awareness alive, get the undecideds, and so on…
I doubt many people are undecided on it, it’s a pretty straight forward vote no?
Ya know what making assumptions does? …just ask Enda Kenny, and mention the last referendum :)
It’s a yearly event and the referendum isn’t passed yet (never mind the campaigning that’ll need doing once the government decides to drag it’s heels over actually acting on it)
