You would be astonished by how many brutal press releases there are every day. A person who can write a press release that’s readable and vaguely interesting is actually not that common.
Whatever they’re looking for, it isn’t that. A friend, who IMO is a really good writer, applied to a similar ad recently in FF and didn’t even get an interview.
Candidate must supply own shovel..
…they really should point out that these are temporary positions and unlikely to arise again in the foreseeable future.

Based on previous coalition junior partners and the state of the current government, must have a willingness to seek new employment after next election. They might in fact want to take this job under a pseudonym and in disguise so as not to impact future job prospects.
