Fair play. It’s a nice idea to open your doors to people.I did it one year and it’s the one christmas that stands out as being an absolute hoot.
There is so much emphasis and hullabaloo surrounding this little December festival – a religious one which replaced a pagan one – that actually pressurises people who are normally content living alone and don’t harbour the same longings to be in a house full of relatives. So invite, yes, but respect people too.

        Innuendo…
        In YOUR end-o!
In the spirit of the above posts, would you like to glaze my ham?

That is a great initiative. I did this before at home, but had never seen a business doing it.

We had people from 14 different nationalities and each had to bring something to eat typical from their country. One of my best ever Christmas meals.

  3. NICE anne (dammit)

What a lovely gesture. Fair dues where it is dues and a merry Christmas to one and all

Actually already booked up to go to Bollocksed Boulevard this Stephenseses, so I’ll have to give Sober Lane a miss.

“no one should have to pay for Christmas dinner”? Ye’re probably all water protesters so!

Splendid initiative though, hope it’s a blast on the night, and that people remember ye for it.
