Ask A Broadsheet Reader

A protester from Clare going under the name of ‘Crucified leprechaun’ during Irish Water protests in Dublin last weekend.

Darren, from Cork Says No writes:

I’m travelling up [from Cork] tomorrow. Wondering if there will be many of the Broadsheet commentariat attending [Irish Water protest]…..and any suggestions for a post-rally pint/sandwich near the Dáil?

    There’s a 24 hour Starbucks on Stephen’s Green. It’s right under what used to be Anglo…. oh…

The Blarney Inn. Won’t be quite as extortionately priced as some of the spots on Kildare Street or Dawson Street.

Oh Lord, aren’t the bog people only allowed in Dublin on Dec. 8th? Don’t you have sheep to attend to?

I think this man might be only person brandishing a cross in Ireland that knows what it actually means.

The Min of the Environment usually publishes a list of eateries condemned for various transgressions.

If you’re staying up more than one night, maybe open your townhouse? I know it’s off-season but the staff should still be in town.

Ya wouldn’t know what a proper protest is even if it sat on your face and swiveled. If you’re going to be sitting around all day on your Playstation, you’ve no right to comment. You’ve a right to water but leave that to us who will happily stand in the rain on your behalf.
