Lasted 24 (ish) seconds until the singing started. Full marks for the Elastica line-up (pun intended). Null points for the sub-RATM riffage, Una Mullaly Feminazi band name (there are girls in the band so it has to be ‘bitch’ something) and general lack of ability to play.

Until rags like Slate stop giving airtime to no-hopers like this it will continue to be impossible for Irish bands to get any international exposure based on home-grown press.

It’s also time for Neiler Nein to embrace a wider trouser fit. It’s like James Corden in tights.

I liked it. RATM comparison is off the mark. Maybe something more like Kyuss. Also what the f does ‘Una Mullaly feminazi’ have to do with it? Just cos it’s on broadsheet and involves women doesn’t make it compulsory to squeeze in a UM reference. It’s good rock music and you could have seen they’re decent musicians if you listened past 24secs.

“Una Mullaly Feminazi band name”. Yawn. Seriously, if this band fall into your “no-hopers” folder I’d be ever so curious to hear what sort of music you do actually listen to. Then again, it’s always said that you shouldn’t feed the trolls……
