No one can stop them.

They can’t stop themselves.

The garda report on the penalty points system has found six senior gardaí continued to cancel penalty points in breach of policy and outside their own areas despite directions from the commissioner that the practice was to cease.

RTÉ News has also learned the report identifies nine cases where senior officers cancelled points and seven more instances where points were cancelled on questionable grounds even after the Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan introduced new procedures last June.

Well, six of them do anyway. Its probably older lads who’ve been cancelling speeding tickets for friends for decades and don’t want to let them down now. Its not quite the same as taking a brown envelope to plant drugs on someone.

GSOC, though its boss has fecked off back to the UK. And anyway, the day he sat down for a coffee with the former commissioner, he lost my confidence to independently discharge his role.

Any update from the CSO on when they will re-commence reporting crime figures; they suspended their reporting last year because the Gardai were under-reporting, misclassifying or not reporting crimes, though I notice the Independent publishes crime figures direct from the Gardai, though that’s probably a reflection of the relationship between INM and the (undisgusting) whistleblowers in the Gardai.

  2. Clampers Outside!

This MUST be a firing offence at this stage… WTactaulF do they think they are doing?

And who the fupp are they cancelling for?

Names of Gardai and those they cancelled for should be revealed. That will put a stop to it, anyone caught gets revealed. Bunch o’ fuppin’ fupps!
