Oh well thank god for that. I was on the edge of my seat.
My fascination for gormless w*nkers earning far too much money for something pointless is boundless. I have a stake in watching said individual compete on an individual basis and go on to win individual success I have no stake in because he’s from the same landmass as me.
Please keep us updated with whatever bit of skirt from the same PR stable he’s reportedly putting his dick in next.

Wow you have perfectly nailed how o feel about this.
It’s funny my auld lad is always giving my updates on the local Eire Og and football team. Why would I give a shoite about them bar them being from the same town as me?

I’m with you on not getting vicarious glory – but when a team actively representing local/national areas wins something, I don’t experience their satisfaction but I kind of understand why me auld pair are happy – it’s nice in a way. Community spirit or some poo.

But I really have no time for golfing fans. This guy represents himself, is not representing you, he’s a professional – why do we cheer this munter hitting a ball into a hole and not have a parade for when Michael O’Leary grows Ryanair by another million passengers or Willie Walsh takes over BA? Inarguably much more impressive feats.

It’s the same phenomenon of die-hard Manchester United fans who live in Belturbet, have never been and have no connection to Manchester, GLOATING about the win they have zero involvement in.
