don’t know whats worse, the settlement, or the fact a fupping golfer earns that kind of money.

It’s massively dependant on prize money, I think, so it will vary a lot from player to player and from year to year. High profile players also earn a lot through sponsorship deals which can be extremely valuable.

Golfers don’t make that kind of money. You’re looking at the top 0.01% of people in the game. You could say the same about any discipline/Industry in the World.

The top 0.01% of people in any industry always make outlandish amounts of money compared to everyone else in the same discipline. It’s a fact of life, nothing to do with Golfers.

If I’d just been handed $25 million, I’d have an annoying face to beat the band. “Smug” wouldn’t even come close to describing how annoying it would be.

I dunno I guess an in demand golfer like himself would have people pulling and dragging out of him to attend or promote this or that so he might need someone to manage that. Or is that a manager’s job. Anyway my point is, going by the hair gel, I think it’s the latter.

He’s just made more money than you’ll ever make in your life, I think he can probably afford new hair, or perhaps a coterie of hangers on to tell him how great his hair is.

surprised nobody mentioned they are wearing almost identical clothes – including four-in-hand knot. maybe he had more influence on Rory than he cares to admit…

I can’t tell if I was moderated or just failed to enter my comment correctly; I’ll try again sure.

Considering McIlroy was the original litigant, is this the biggest blowback on a countersuit since Oscar Wilde tried to sue your man for defamation and ended up bankrupt and half-dead?

    Like I said yesterday

The wee ‘mon should’a bought himself out of the contract. Like a gentleman. And a Pro.

Instead he acted the prick, hired a Prone and tried the the ‘do you know who I am’ strategy. Just like Terry’s other client, Pee Flynn.

25 mill sounds light t’me btw. Sur the legals alone must be 5mill.
