UPDATE:

Winner:

ConorD: I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had… I got engaged to my girlfriend this week and we’re both from Dublin but for work now living in the UK. Be a nice reminder of where we are from and where we will be moving back to as soon as we can!

Thanks all.

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had… I got into Sumatra’s national park to go orangutan trekking and was greeted by my guide with the words – póg mo thóin. Poor sod didn’t even know what he was saying! As much as I would love the print, I think they would like it even more.

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I had since I attended an interview, didn’t see the person I love and tried to proofread an awfully badly written document. :-)

unfortunately you’ll only be able to afford to rent in mullingar, and the picture will only remind you of what you can’t have. why would you do that to yourself? best to withdraw from the competition and let someone win who really hates themselves.
      peace :)

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had, in which a colleague asked me what the red X button on the computer screen does.

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had… after getting whiplash on Wednesday when someone hit me from behind. I read Broadsheet all day long in my office in Cambridge, and you always cheer me up. Come on guys, I’m hurtin’. Literally. PS I love Jam Art Factory. Kiss. Kiss.

recovering from Bell’s Palsy, Hell’s Bells, would have preferred a Bell’s Whiskey, but you can’t unring a bell and hopefully i’ll be as sound as a bell before Jingle Bells.

Deserving, but unless otherwise stated, we assume you are living in Ireland. Yer man above, the newly engaged, is an emigrant, living away from home an all. He didn’t even get a hug from his ma/da when he got engaged cause of that.

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had, I read every comment comment on “the Psycho lane article”.

  8. BunnyFace

I would really enjoy this print, particularly after the week I’ve had feeling quite happy about things tbh!
No dramas, happy life, now coveting a pic that would be a future reminder of a good time in my life! (I live near there!)

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had – I got trapped in a bottle but nobody wanted to draw ME!

  10. What Goes Up...

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had…. having gained my freedom after being trapped in a lamp for 10,000 years, along comes Aladdin, promises me my freedom, tricks me and *POOF* – back in the lamp for me… actually… screw this print!

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had living on my nerves and faking that I know what I’m doing in my job. Feels like a precariously balanced knife threatens to tumble down on me at any moment.

  12. Frilly Keane

I would enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had cause Medium Size C said I don’t know Dublin, and that was after I stood up for a lad who’s long dead and I never even met, who came to Marley Park on this day …

“I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had i’ve been abused on broadsheet all week for spelling and grammar mistakes and i am not going to have a day off for another 14 days and i have load of work outside of dublin which i hate cause everywhere outside of dublin is hell’

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had because I had absolutely convinced myself that I would win the Lotto jackpot of €10 million and had already begun spending the money in my head. Trip to Rome this weekend for the 6 nations with all my friends followed by a quiet Monday where I quit my job, buy myself a Segway and zoom down the hard shoulder of the motorway back home to Dundalk because… well, just because.

“I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had…convincing our American overlords not to relocate our operation to some Eastern European low-cost location. Not sure whether it proved sucessful.but I’m sure they’ll let me know.” *bends knee and tugs forelock*

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had because:-
    a) My puppy chewed my phone cover to bits, and she destroyed my reading glasses and then licked my face after eating the cat’s pooh!
    b) I turned up for a meeting at work only to find I was a day too late! Oops!
    c) Emptying my bin in the dark I trod in something considered to be lucky but alas I did not win the 10 mill!

  17. Clampers Outside!

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had has been topsy turvy
And like any good sailor I need avoid the scurvy
But for me more than that, this could be pervy
For Mani’s Mom likes her sailors duuurty !

  18. Orlita

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had since I’ve just moved house and my bedroom walls are really bare. I don’t have a job at the moment :( so I’m too poor to buy nice pictures

“The little bit of red in the Poolbeg Chimneys are hand painted by Jacob.”

Oh well in that case then.

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had because a lovely nurse at my GPs said ‘Oh I know you! Sure you’re the image of your Dad’ which normally would be grand but she had this penny-dropping moment mid cervical smear test. It was an uncomfortable moment, in more than one way.

  21. mike

I would really enjoy this PINT particularly after the week I’ve had because I’ve lost my glasses.

  22. heart the pale

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had – which had a high point of buying a house (so how have a wall to hang this one, and a low point of the in-laws pointing out that we were moving to the country side (yes – 30km from them currently) – and WHAT WERE WE THINKING – which made me think- NOT FAR ENOUGH

  23. Rory Gibney

“I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had. I’ve recently moved to Leeds for a new job and though I’m having great craic over here, the banks and councils over here seem to think I’m some boisterous Michael Fagan type that’s going to be pissing in the streets and laundering money!
I’m in an office with lads from Iran, India and Libya and they were all shocked that I had to go for an interview to get a national insurance number. Then 2 weeks ago I was greatly relieved that I finally got my bank account sorted before my first payday and this week I got a letter saying my bank account had been closed and when I went in to ask why I was told that they cannot divulge that information.

I’m a recent graduate who has never had any loans or credit cards and doesn’t have any criminal record! Now I have to wait another 3 weeks to get paid and I have all the other nationalities in my office laughing at my troubles setting myself up in England. Maybe I should stop wearing my tweed cap with a green shamrock and “Ireland” stitched into it?!

Anyway, I feel that the print would bring warm thoughts of home to me in my Leeds flat and I would relish the chance to admire it whilst wearing my Carroll’s best aran jumper and tweed cap

  24. Hugh Am I

“I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had…. when everything went wrong, a win would make it not so bad, to get Dublin in a bottle would make everything ok, because I love my city,it makes me happy every day”

  25. scottser

i would like this print to go to someone else, as i only have to walk to the bottom of my lane to see the real thing in all it’s glory and not a shoddy, badly drawn facsimile.

    get me, huh?

  26. realPolithicks

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had, because we’ve had about twenty eight inches of snow this week alone, the current temperature is 27 degrees below freezing (Fahrenheit incl wind chill), the public transportation system has essentially ground to a halt, and frankly at this point I’m knackered.

  27. joe gregory

I would really enjoy this print particularly after the week I’ve had. (I completed the sentence by adding a full stop.)
