The Horror Binge Of Shame

This afternoon.

‘Controversial’ ‘Donegal Day’ (part of Galway Rag Week) in The Hole In The Wall, Galway.

A tipple, the odd cig, bit of sun…on a Tuesday?

WHY can’t they be STOPPED?

Not so much the tipple in the sun, more a symptom of a societal focus on the tipple that is overall a bit screwed up

Ah yes, everyone repeat the national mantra – IRELAND HAS A PROBLEM WITH DRINK!!11one!!!11

Hope they all have a good time and get home safe.

Also, the national mantra goes more like: ‘havin’ de craic, coupla scoops, go on outta that wit yer ‘drink problem’, fair play!’.

Yea, and that problems the price of piss. They’re students, they’re ~20 years old, their bodies are able to handle it. Leave em alone and let them make some mistakes.

And presumably they’re all aged 18 or over. There’s hardly any underaged students out there drinking, could there…..

Good on them I say!!! The moaners are only jealous! I’d love to be on a consequence free lash with my mates on a Tuesday!

Donegal Day? – Meh. I think I’ll invent a Carlow Day where everyone drinks pints of O’ Hara’s and ates scallions by the cart-load, I might even invite Kathryn Thomas, if she’s lucky.

Its a good town for students to get drunk in, is that what you mean? I was as bad as any student back in the day so I don’t really have a leg to stand on but, boy we did a lot of stupid annoying things back then.
